The Senior Citizens Fellowship is for members in the age group of 65 and above. The Senior
Citizens Fellowship was formed for the retired members of our church to have fellowship and share their life experiences. This group help them to stay active and worship God.
Senior citizens are an asset to our church, we believe their vast experience always give great impact to the church activities. It is refreshing to bear in mind that a great many of the achievements of mankind go to the credit of senior citizens. Nelson Mandela at 83 played the wonderful role of peace maker in his war-torn Africa. Michelangelo was writing poems and designing buildings up to the time of his death at 90. Benjamin Franklin at 81 gave leadership to the drafting and passage of the U.S. constitution. Titian completed his 'Last Supper' at 80. The list goes.
St. John’s MTC has a strong senior Citizen wing, the meetings are held on every 1st Sunday after service.
But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
Matthew 1:20-21
